ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

August 20th 2014

We were nominated by the wonderful people at Savage Solutions to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge yesterday. We accepted the challenge right away, but had to wait until today to actually perform the challenge.

Raising Awareness

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.

The Challenge

Refreshing buckets of ice water were poured over our heads and $1000 has been donated to The ALS Association. We are nominating the following teams (and friends of ours) to also donate and participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

You’ve got 24 hours

GO! 🙂
